My Wardrobe - Reading

Reading on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.

This book focuses on the identity, life stories, and clothing preferences of older women. Elizabeth Baum-Breuer profiles 50 + 1 women aged 63 to 103 from diverse backgrounds. Four younger women serve as a bridge to future generations.

Through photos, conversations, and biographical texts, this book weaves moving “fashion narratives” about life, memory, and the joy of living in old age. It inspires readers to explore their own life stories through the lens of clothing and is aimed at women of all ages, as well as family members, friends, colleagues, and educators.

Admission (includes museum visit): €10

Registration is requested: info@stadtmuseum.at
