Holiday intern wanted for the Bad Ischl museums!

Are you interested in a varied job at the museum and would like to gain exciting insights into the work behind the scenes? Then apply to the museums of Bad Ischl, the Hotel Austria and the Lehárvilla for the summer of 2025!

Your benefits:

  • Deployment in July or August 2025
  • 40 hours per week (working hours by arrangement)
  • Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 - 17:00
  • Flat-rate compensation: 1,400 euros gross
  • Minimum age: 16 years

Your tasks:

  • Support at the cash desk and in the museum store
  • Work in the archive and depot
  • Guided tours of the Lehárvilla and Hotel Austria
  • Participation in events and functions

Opening hours

Hotel Austria

MI - SO 10.00 - 17.00 (January - March)
DI - SO 10.00 - 17.00 (April - December)

In addition, we are open on 8.12.2025, on 24.12.2025 until 15.00, on 31.12.2025 until 15.00.

The museum will be closed on 25.12.25, 26.12.25 and 1.1.26.

Lehárvilla

TU - SO 10.00 - 17.00 (April - October)

Visits are only possible with a guide. Maximum group size: 15 people.

Visits outside opening hours are possible in groups on request.

Visits outside opening hours are possible in both houses for groups of 10 people or more.
