Museum stores

Our museum stores offer a diverse selection of souvenirs and gift items that perfectly complement our exhibitions. Whether books, postcards, pens, notepads, games or other special souvenirs - you are guaranteed to find something suitable here.

The exhibition at Hotel Austria expands on our "Sehnsucht Salzkammergut" catalog, which offers exciting insights into the history of the region. The new catalog for the Lehárvilla will be published in July 2025 with the title "In Ischl I always have the best ideas. Franz Lehár's summer resort villa on the Traun".

Salt time

Virtual museum

We have joined forces in the Capital of Culture Region to bring our museums to life virtually and to connect the fascinating 7,000-year history of salt.

A significant part of this is the Hotel Austria, which was once owned by the Seeauer salt manufacturing family.
