Culture Screen - A Screen as a World Stage

Oct. 8 – Nov. 20, 2026

Opening: October 8, 2026, 5:30 p.m.

The "Culture Screen" exhibition is a collaboration between the University of the Arts Tokyo and the University of Applied Arts Vienna. A project based on this concept was previously on display at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025. The focus is on the byobu folding screen, which serves as a connecting element between the past and the future—a dialogue between cultures—where students from both institutions were invited to explore it and interpret it artistically.
